new house...new directions
Kapitbahay namin ang mga Chinese Hookers and Pimp, Indian small family, the other extended filipino family and other chinese and indian feeling businessmen!

Dito sila nagtotong-its at nagchichismisan tuwing summer at winter.
Totoong the Hills are alive sa pelikulang nagpasikat sa Salzburg - ang Sound of Music!

Revisiting the Rollerblading experience
My Friday afternoons for the past 4 weeks was spent rollerblading at the Open Beach in Jumeirah. All geared up with pads from my elbows to knees, I was determined to use my newly inherited Nike Rollerblades to use. I informed my friends about my inheritance and suggested a free tutorial. I immediately suggested the Open Beach since they have special track for cyclers and rollerbladers or skaters living around the area. We went to a shopping spree of Roller Blades to different sports store from Go Sport at MOE, Sun & Sands in Festival City and City Center and finally to Sun & Sands in Al Ghurair. My instructors finally found the most suitable pair of Roller Blades!
Hope you enjoy the videos as much as we enjoyed shooting them!

Falling in love - Not Real

As I continue my reading sessions at the office (I got tired of playing PACMAN) I came across the Chapter called: LOVE in the book THE ROAD LESS TRAVELLED. The author, M. Scott Peck wrote the following things about FALLING IN LOVE.
" the experience of falling in love is not real love for the several reasons that follow.
Falling in love is not an act of will. It is not a conscious choice. No matter how open to or eager for it we may be, the experience may still elude us. Contrarily, the experience may capture us at times when we are definitely not seeking it, when it is inconvenient and undesirable. We are likely to fall in love with someone with whom we are obviously ill matched as with someone more suitable. Indeed, we may not even like or admire the object of our passion, yet try as we might, we may not be able to fall in love with a person whom we deeply respect and with whom a deep relationship would be in all ways desirable.
...Lazy and undisciplined individuals are as likely to fall in love as energetic and dedicated ones.
...Falling in love has littel to do with purposively nurturing one's spiritual development. If we have any purpose in mind when we fall in love it is to terminate our own loneliness and perhaps insure this result through marriage.
...Falling in love is a trick that our genes pull on our otherwise perceptive mind to hoodwink or trap us into marriage. "
So there it is! Nonetheless I still want to fall in love and be swept off of my feet.
